My monotype print “Swedish Cupboard III” won an award in the VOLVO Art & Design Competition with the theme "Interpretation of Modern Scandinavian Design", and I was invited to the Award Ceremony held at the Official Residents of the Swedish Ambassador to Japan in November 2008.

According to the organizer, my work was selected for its unique texture and intriguing combination of an everyday motif in a decorative composition. The prize-winning pieces are also featured in the 2009 VOLVO Cars Japan calender.The photo below shows its desktop version.
